I’m Jay, the founder. Here’s my story so far…
Having always been passionate about food and a budding home-cook myself, I noticed more people were sharing their food during the lockdown as people had more time on their hands and were being furloughed. Also, the need for real nutritious home-cooked food was growing as people tired of boring unhealthy takeaways. This is where Flavour Street was born, the idea of bridging the gap between cooks and food lovers.
I wanted to provide a platform based on Trust and Passion. Trust in the safety and hygiene of the food you eat. Passion behind every meal made by talented local cooks. I worked together with cooks in my network and a select few I found on social media to create Flavour Street.
We are at the beginning of our journey as a community, so come along with us to revolutionise where our food comes from and the choices we have!
